Role Purpose:

This role is required to lead and manage the Vodafone Ireland Technology Cyber Security compliance programme. Specifically, the role out of projects to address compliance to the Cyber Security Baselines (CSB) across Technology. The role will also ensure ongoing compliance to these baselines through the management of BAU programmes and the collation and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to senior management.

Projects for achieving and managing cyber security compliance will also involve liaising with teams across all of Technology including IT, Networks (Ops and Engineering), and VBTS).

The Programme Manager will be required to:

•be the contact and escalation point for the whole VFIE Technology organization, including the Vodafone Group managed estate (VCI, and PCS) for CSB related requests and projects

•delivers regular KPI and Budget reports and improvement plans

•liaise with teams across VFIE and in Vodafone Group (VCI and PCS, Networks, and Cyber Security) on implementation and compliance projects and queries

•be responsible for the analysis and planning of CSB activities across Technology.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

New CSB Controls & Uplift in CS Standards & Policies:
Group's CSB programme is continually reviewing cyber security policies and standards and considering external forces to develop and adapt CSB controls to reflect on best practise and emerging threats, in order to move Vodafone as a whole to an increased baseline standard for Cyber Security. The Programme Manager is responsible to review scope, develop/amend, and deliver on plans for each new/updated control, standard, and policy related to CSB for Technology as part of an overall CSB programme of activities for each FY.

Maintaining Compliance

• The Programme Manager is responsible to develop, plan, and have oversight of a programme of activities that manage BAU compliance for Technology accountable CSB controls or support BAU compliance where Technology is responsible for actions on CSB controls where the accountable.

• Security Risk Management for Technology

• Developing, managing, and reporting the Technology Cyber Security KRIs

• Technology UAM Process Owner (including Remote Access)

• Analysing data for KRI reporting and addressing any data discrepancies

Supporting Cyber Security Team

• Supporting incident response at the direction of Cyber Security for any impacts on Technology

• Supporting audit and managing the response to audit findings for Technology

• Responding to and managing the remediation of CSANs

• Supporting SOX and FRR reviews

• Supporting the Cyber Security team on data deep dives for scope and KRI compliance and addressing any data issues to resolution.

Budget

• Management of the CSB activities for IT within budget.

• Raising and managing POs for the CSB programme of activities in IT.

• Reporting on IT's CSB budget

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

Minimum BSc/BEng Qualification.
10+ years demonstrated working experience in technical programme/project management.
Demonstrated working experience in cyber security related activities, preferably delivering programmes for cyber security.
Highly motivated, autonomous individual with strong methodological background and focus on business needs.
Analytical skills, thoroughness, and attention to details. Presentation and reporting skills will be required.
Excellent communicating skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues in simple terms.
Strong Budget management. Forecasting and Management of Budget up to 2m yearly.
Exposure to infrastructure operations/development, application development, application operations and connectivity is an advantage.
Technical awareness and ability to quickly understand new technologies – specifically emerging technologies in public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) including containerised and serverless solutions.
Experience in dealing with an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines.
Vendor management experience.
People skill, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills
Strong leadership skills
