ABOUT THE POSITION

Join our team as a Training Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the learning landscape within our organization. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing and executing impactful training programs that drive workforce growth and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Training Plan Development and Control

  • Develop, plan, and oversee training plans based on identified needs.
  • Collaborate with managers to pinpoint training requirements and craft tailored programs.
  • Manage company training plans efficiently using SAP.
  • Design programs, select training centers and instructors, and liaise with relevant departments to ensure streamlined budget approvals.

- Training Program Design and Delivery

  • Create and deliver internal and external training programs, both in-person and online, validated by respective areas and compliant with regulations.
  • Update and propose course catalogs for accessibility and dissemination.
  • Utilize internal tools for online course creation (e.g., Articulated Storyline, Brightcove, Virtual Reality).
  • Develop instructor-led and computer-based training aligned with business objectives.
  • Create innovative technical, quality, and GXP training programs complete with templates, job aids, assessments, and checklists.

- Training System Management

  • Oversee the Grifols Training Platform (GTP) and SAP HR Training Module.
  • Establish and maintain qualification, course, and practical training catalogs in SAP.
  • Monitor training progress through SAP Backoffice and generate comprehensive reports.

- Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure training activities align with relevant regulations in Quality, Safety, Human Resources, and Environment domains.
  • Supervise and monitor training requisites for various job roles, ensuring compliance for both internal and external personnel.
  • Provide compliance oversight to uphold curriculum and training procedure requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits/inspections and compile requested reports.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of training initiatives to meet predefined objectives.

- Coordination and Support

  • Coordinate human and material resources for training endeavors.
  • Offer training and guidance to managers in determining training needs and utilizing global management tools.
  • Document and archive training in accordance with established corporate protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to strategize and manage training effectively.
  • Contribute as necessary to GMP Induction during Onboarding training sessions.

- Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate training analysis reports using SAP and BI tools.
  • Keep management apprised of training status, including any issues or deviations.
  • Prepare reports for audits and inspections, ensuring accurate representation of the established training system.
  • Monitor technical training efficacy and performance enhancement, presenting results to stakeholders.

- External Training and Subsidies

  • Oversee external training courses and platforms.
  • Understand subsidy requisites to identify qualifying training actions and ensure proper documentation and processing.
  • Inform subsidy managers of requisite data and ensure conformity with criteria defined by funding bodies.
  • Manage course convocations, documentations, and invoices in alignment with subsidy stipulations.

- Continuous Improvement

  • Research and suggest novel tools and methodologies for efficient training management (e.g., Virtual Reality).
  • Collaborate with Corporate Training to design, validate, and implement training applications.
  • Engage in internal consulting to analyze scenarios and propose tailored solutions.
  • Implement new information technologies and training techniques.

- Regulation and Standardization

  • Ensure adherence of training systems to corporate policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain and update training catalogs and prerequisites in alignment with job family structures.
  • Supervise and regulate initial and ongoing training for personnel based on job specifications.
  • Develop training modules by creating content independently or in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Deliver organization-wide curriculum to bolster strategic goals, such as HES, SAP, and cGXP.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of GMP requirements and working familiarity with plant manufacturing operations.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and inventive creativity essential for driving impactful training programs.
  • Strong project management acumen and ability to handle concurrent programs crucial.
  • Proficient in facilitation, platform, written, and oral communication skills, along with robust critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis proficiency.
  • Ability to offer guidance to departments in crafting technical training programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • Pragmatic approach and adaptability in tailoring programs and services to meet specific client needs indispensable.
  • Capability to function autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment imperative.
  • Ability to influence client behavior, conduct needs assessments, develop effective technical training solutions when necessary, and assess training effectiveness required.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of a BS/BA degree and pertinent training experience in a regulated environment, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Specifically, applicants must possess 2-5 years of relevant training experience,
  • with at least 2-3 years devoted to developing, designing, and implementing technical training courses.
  • Experience should encompass sound technical knowledge from Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering realms, coupled with adept presentation skills and proficiency in managing group dynamics.
  • Competency in word processing, graphic programs, databases, and presentation delivery platforms, including video, web-based CBT, and e-learning, is essential.
