What is the opportunity?

Technology Services, part of the Group IT division, is accountable for IT Service Delivery in a multi-vendor, outsourced model. Relationship Managers are assigned to each vendor to support their engagement with the bank. The successful candidate will work closely with these Relationship Managers to ensure the relationships are managed appropriately in line with our outsourcing policy.

In this Role, you will...
  • Work with the Relationship Managers to support the performance of our vendors.
  • Represent Relationship Manager at internal fora.
  • Ensure adherence to vendor governance processes i.e., forums, agenda, attendees.
  • Ensure risk, compliance and governance related data, Contract obligations, KYS, Business Continuity, Exit Planning expectations are being met.
  • Tracking and reporting of issues to closure.

Essential Qualifications

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

The candidate should be great at creating and developing relationships. They should be well organised and excellent communicators. They should be capable of co-ordinating activities with relationship managers across the Bank.

More about the team

The Supplier Specialist Team supports our IT supplier Relationship Managers. There are 2 people who support c70 relationship managers across Bank of Ireland Group, primarily Ireland & UK. The team ensures that activities are completed on time, meet expectations and outcomes are appropriately evidenced. Much of the work is planned and scheduled but challenge arise from time to time that require excellent interpersonal, organising and communication skills.

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
