Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support System Engineer to join our Population Health Solutions team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms. You will be the primary point of contact for our international clients, providing technical support and resolving system issues related to healthcare data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support: Serve as the main contact for HIE platform clients, offering timely and effective technical support and resolving complex issues related to system interfaces and data integration.

Incident Management: Handle and resolve support tickets related to HIE platform incidents. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including monitoring, updates, and backups. Ensure the HIE platform operates efficiently and meets performance standards.

Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve technical problems with system interfaces, data connections, and interoperability issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Population Health team and other departments to coordinate support activities, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and configuration settings.

Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to clients and team members on system functionalities, best practices, and issue resolution techniques.

Compliance and Security: Ensure all support activities comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient data.

Responsibilities

As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Support Organization as a healthcare data integration expert. You will serve as the primary client contact, leading troubleshooting activities and resolving system interface issues on the HIE platform. Your responsibilities will include managing incident tasks, setting up and maintaining environments, and providing Tier III and other support as needed. Collaboration with the Population Health Team and leadership will be essential in this role.
