MARKET ACCESS MANAGER

What you will do

In this vital role you will develop compelling strategies to drive patient access and develop value tools for the development and support of the brands.

  • Leading the design and delivery of industry leading HTA strategies and submissions to NCPE
  • Partnering with global & UK access teams to ensure delivery of health economics projects (e.g. health economic models, budget impact models, detailed reviews, network meta-analyses, costing studies) meet the methodological requirements of Irish HTA agencies.
  • Lead HTA external partner plans in collaboration with cross-functional team.
  • Lead on implementing a cross functional integrated market access approach to pipeline
  • Working in partnership with the local cross-functional brand teams to provide functional expertise.
  • Inputting into local access strategy and value/access materials in collaboration with local brand teams
  • Create value propositions based on economic analysis of inline brands to maintain and expand reimbursement.
  • Work cross functionally to generate evidence and value messages to support pricing business cases both internally and externally.
  • Create innovative access solutions to increase access to inline and pipeline brands e.g. combination pricing / performance based manage entry agreements.
  • Stay informed of changes in policies and procedures and assess how they may affect the business strategy and processes e.g. EU HTA regulation.
  • Represent Irish function on any broader cross-country teams as required.
  • Manage associated functional budgets.

Be part of our team

You would be joining a dynamic team supporting and advancing Amgen's exciting pipeline. As a key member of our highly experienced Value Access & Policy (VA&P) team, you will develop HTA and national access strategy to drive patient access, providing strategic input and developing value tools for the development and support of the brand. The Market Access Manager will report to the Health Economics Senior Manager within the VA&P department.

  • MSc in Health Economics or related field
  • Consistent track record in health economics or market access attained either in industry or consultancy/agency with experience of developing high quality HTA submissions
  • Experience in HTA policy
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and implement plans against objectives in a semi-autonomous environment while also working effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Knowledge of product commercialization processes
  • Modelling experience for Health Economic / Budget Impact / Value Demonstration models
  • Good analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in oncology and rare diseases HTA submissions
