Building Services Engineer

OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced construction team.Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will assist in managing the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services design and installation across high-density residential developments.ResponsibilitiesOversee and monitor the quality of M&E system installations throughout residential projects, from coordination through to commissioning and handoverSupport site construction management teams in coordinating M&E systems and provide assistance in resolving onsite issues as they ariseCoordinate with design teams to ensure smooth integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural componentsSupervise M&E sub-contractors to ensure quality standards and project timelines are metLiaise with utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of key services such as electricity, lighting, gas, water, and telecoms to residential developmentsAnticipate and manage the need for alterations to existing site services, including coordination of mains service diversionsContribute to innovation and value engineering processes by evaluating and implementing best-in-class mechanical and electrical systemsManage temporary electrical and water services on siteThe Ideal CandidateQualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering4+ years post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally within residential or high-density construction projectsKeen interest in energy efficiency and emerging trends in building servicesTrade background is advantageous but not essentialSelf-motivated, organised team player with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesStrong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering quality workWilling to travel to sites across Greater Dublin area (full driving licence required)Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environmentOpeningsSalary: €40,000 to €50,000 Per Annum; Sector: MEP and Fire Engineering; Contract Type: Full time; Town/City: DublinSalary: €55,000 to €65,000 Per Annum; Sector: MEP and Fire Engineering; Contract Type: Full time; Town/City: DublinSalary: €55,000 to €65,000 Per Annum; Sector: MEP and Fire Engineering; Contract Type: Full time; Town/City: KilkennySalary: €70,000 to €80,000 Per Annum; Sector: MEP and Fire Engineering; Contract Type: Full time; Town/City: DublinSenior Sustainability Engineer – Dublin (salary not specified)#J-*****-Ljbffr
