Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles to customers faster than any other light commercial vehicle supplier, and we keep those vehicles on the road longer by minimizing downtime.
Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in our Dublin branch.
This role is ideal for someone with similar experience in a previous position.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages (in life & end of life) requiring Bodyshop assessment & repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Capture additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs
Upload damage packs (files/images) to shared drives
Perform quality checks on vehicles returning from repairs
Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair acceptance or failure
Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop
Manage damage packs to meet documentation requests
Serve as contact point for Service Department and other departments for queries
Provide training support to satellite branches as needed
Coordinate with Asset Department regarding vehicle collection/movements
Ensure timely job card creation and update CAP accordingly
Update customers on repair progress
Handle emails and correspondence as required
Communicate daily with external Bodyshops
Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audit reports
Maintain filing systems

Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training
Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
Experience in a Bodyshop role
Proven customer service skills and relationship building
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organized and self-motivated
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
Team player adaptable to change
Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry preferred
Experience in warranty, workshop, or body shop roles desirable
Suitable for apprentice mechanics or panel beaters interested in administrative roles
What We Offer
Competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum, pro-rata, plus:
