This large accommodation provider is seeking a Reception Manager to oversee front-of-house operations across a multi-site residence.
This role will ensure a smooth, professional guest experience for both long-term residents and short-stay visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management: Lead day-to-day reception services, including check-in/out, guest communications, and adapting procedures between academic and summer seasons.Customer Service: Deliver an exceptional experience for a diverse audience.
Handle escalated queries and implement feedback-driven improvements.Seasonal Operations: Prepare for and support summer operations, including onboarding staff and coordinating with group and event teams.Team Leadership: Recruit, train and schedule reception and seasonal staff, ensuring strong coverage during peak times.Systems & Compliance: Maintain accurate records using booking systems, ensure GDPR and safety compliance, and liaise with internal teams for system and facilities support.Candidate Requirements:
3+ years' experience in front-of-house or customer service management, ie Reception / Front Office Manager in large hotels or serviced apartmentsQualification in Hospitality, Business or Tourism an advantageEvening and weekend availability required, especially during peak summer seasonProven ability to manage seasonal teams and adjust to varying guest needsStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsConfident with reception systems and guest issue resolutionFamiliarity with youth, group or language travel segments an advantage
