Accounts Payable Specialist
to join their growing finance team based in Little Island, Cork.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist will take ownership of day-to-day AP operations and play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.
The role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building strong relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues alike.
End-to-end processing and reconciliation of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Preparation and execution of weekly and monthly payment runs.
Management of supplier accounts, including query resolution and statement reconciliations.
Supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reporting.
Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements within the AP function.
Providing support on ad-hoc finance projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Ambition to develop within a finance career and contribute to a busy, dynamic environment.
