Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity

The role of Accounts Payable Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation's financial processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately processing and verifying incoming invoices, maintaining organised accounts payable records, and reconciling transactions to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately process and verify invoices, allocating expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centres by analysing invoices and expense reports.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing system reports with account balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices or payments promptly.
  • File and manage financial documents in an orderly and secure manner to safeguard sensitive information.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy, as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced accounts payable environment.

• Proficiency in Intact IQ.

• Excellent organisational skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with finance team members and external vendors.
