Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

A leading company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and verifying incoming invoices, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and verify incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records, including logging, tracking, and filing of invoices.
- Reconcile transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances.
- Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports, recording entries, and ensuring accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, or payments promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced accounts payable environment.
- Proficiency in Intact IQ is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with finance team members and external vendors.
