The Role
Tesco Ireland is seeking a Line Manager responsible for supporting and leading a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
This role reports to the Deputy Manager and ensures we serve Ireland's shoppers a little better each day.

Responsibilities
Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
Manage store operations in the absence of Store or Deputy Managers
Ensure team training and validation
Foster two-way communication and a culture of trust
Coach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needs
Review reports and systems to implement improvements
Drive zero food waste initiatives
Recruit passionate colleagues
Understand and deliver cleaning standards
Manage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines
Ensure accurate pricing and handle refunds and overcharges
Manage front-end operations to prevent queues
Recognize excellent service and provide feedback
Candidate Requirements
For the 'Line Manager' role, you should have:
A passion for delivering the right experience for customers and colleagues
Adaptability and agility in thinking
Experience delivering objectives in a fast-paced environment
The ability to be the 'Go To' person for your department
Experience in retail, preferably in a similar role
