Aviation Compliance Leadership | Export Controls & Customs | Dublin-Based
About the Job:
A high-profile aviation platform seeks an accomplished compliance leader to shape and manage its international export control and customs operations.
Operating in a highly specialized aviation niche, this company offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the opportunity to directly impact international operations, compliance frameworks, and cross-border transactions.
You will partner closely with the legal and technical teams, ensuring compliance across a diverse and complex fleet.
This is a
customer-facing, strategic leadership role
that offers high visibility across the business and international exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead global export control and customs compliance across the aircraft portfolio
Evaluate transactions and screen assets for military or dual-use classification
Advise internal stakeholders on licensing requirements and regulatory obligations
Monitor changes in international trade regulations and implement updated practices
Liaise with global authorities to secure appropriate export and customs licenses
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on compliance risk and mitigation
Collaborate with senior leaders, legal, technical, and operations teams
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in export control, customs compliance, or related regulatory fields
Background in law, international studies, or regulatory compliance preferred
Familiarity with EU, US, and global export control regimes
Experience in a transactional or advisory setting
Comfortable in a highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and fast-moving environment
