Food & Beverage AssistantDepartment/Location: Food and BeverageReporting to: Food and Beverage ManagementJob overviewAbout us: The MHL Hotel Collection is a collection of unique and individual hotels in key city and resort locations throughout Ireland.From the bustling city centers of Dublin, Galway and Limerick, to an historic estate close to Galway City, each of our 14 hotels has its own distinct personality and charm.As unique as our collection is, all of our hotels are united in their commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality to all of our guests.This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and progressive Irish hotel group, and work with the F&B Team for the Harbour Hotel Galway.Duties and responsibilitiesMain Duties:Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine.Take orders promptly and clearly and ensure correct till operations are adhered to.Strive to have a complete knowledge of all elements of the food and beverage products.Daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, hovering and moping of floors/cleaning of equipment such as coffee machines/ using glass washers and to carry out extra duties such as deep cleaning as required.Ensure compliance, at all times, of all relevant legislation relating to weights and measures, licensing and under-age drinking.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentBenefits:FlexitimeExperience:food and beverage: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Work Location: In person
