We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Ireland and UK, based in Dublin, as soon as possible.
Business Development Management Ireland & UK (m/f/d)
Fulltime, working from home, based anywhere in the greater Dublin area.
What you'll be doing
Sales and business development of our air cargo cooling container, the Opticooler, within your region.
Identification of potential clients, particularly manufacturers of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals exporting and distributing their products globally by air.
Initiation and coordination of the qualification and validation of the Opticooler at pharmaceutical companies.
Development and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders across the global pharmaceutical air cargo cool chain – shippers, forwarders, and airlines – to gather market intelligence and expand Opticooler rentals.
Regular meetings with existing and potential customers to present and sell DoKaSch products, while preparing business cases for new products, services, and revenue streams.
Participation in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with customers.
Promotion of the Opticooler in your region as a highly reliable and cost-efficient packaging solution for the international airfreight cool chain.
Active participation in trade fairs and industry conferences.
Close cooperation with international sales colleagues to ensure efficient container flows worldwide.
Ability to work strategically with senior executives as well as operationally to translate strategies into long-term business.
Reporting line to the Chief Commercial Officer, based in Amsterdam.
What you need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Strong interest in acquiring and developing business opportunities.
Several years of professional experience in sales and business development, preferably within international logistics, air cargo, or the pharmaceutical cool chain.
Ideally, experience with packaging solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
Interest in building and maintaining long-term relationships and in closing deals.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
High level of independence in working style.
Language skills: Excellent command of German as a native language, or proficiency in another international language is highly valued.

The Opticooler is designed to transport and safeguard high value, temperature sensitive cargo such as pharmaceuticals on intercontinental flights.
The "Made in Germany" DoKaSch Opticooler work autonomously with batteries.
It is valued for its exceptional reliability and performance at any climatic and weather situation and keeps cargo very accurately within the 2-8°C or 15-25°C range.
