Overview
Senior Data Modelling Analyst
(11-Month Contract) — Location: Galway (ideally within commutable distance).
As a Senior Data Modelling Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that business objectives come to life.
You will partner closely with squad leads, engineers, and architects to provide value to our customers through agile product delivery.
Your insights will drive innovative solutions that help secure the organization against internal and external threats.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define research objectives.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify vulnerabilities, malware, and configuration exposures in applications and infrastructure.
Build engaging data visualization dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
Develop and maintain data flow diagrams to illustrate data lineage and ensure data integrity.
Work with various database platforms (Oracle, Postgres) and implement ETL processes to streamline data management.
Contribute to data governance and quality initiatives to uphold the organization's data strategy.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive analyst experience with a focus on research, requirements definition, and gap analysis.
Proven expertise in data analysis, including strong SQL knowledge and experience with data modelling strategies.
Familiarity with ETL tools (DBT, SnapLogic) and building data pipelines is a plus.
A collaborative spirit with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Agile experience (Kanban/SCRUM) and a background in Cybersecurity or Risk is preferred.
AWS Certifications are a bonus
