Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst in Galway on contract basis (11 months) Join our client's cool company and be part of a great team working with recent technologies. This role is in Galway and on hybrid basis - best suited for candidates who live within commutable distance. Why this role: Cool company Recent technologies Great team Complex projects This is your opportunity to make a real impact by developing performance measurement and analytics software. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a talented team to develop software solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Create data flow and system diagrams to visualize complex processes. Write complex SQL queries and engage with relational databases. Actively participate in agile development processes, contributing to user stories and requirements gathering. Important skills: * Requirements gathering * Firm understanding API's * Writing stories in Jira * Understanding complex UI applications * Data mapping experience Requirements: Experience in large software projects focusing on requirements gathering and systems analysis. Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and JIRA Align, particularly Scrum Boards. Advanced SQL skills will be desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for collaboration across teams. Financial Services industry experience is a bonus, but not required. Third-level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent IT qualification.
