The Role
This senior role leads Cubic's global wholesale commercial function, overseeing the wholesale roadmap, negotiations portfolio, and delivery of MNO partnerships and integrations worldwide.
It combines commercial leadership, P&L accountability, program delivery oversight, and cross-functional orchestration to expand footprint, improve margins, and fulfill customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the global team of wholesale negotiators and roaming managers.
Coach, set objectives, and oversee performance to ensure delivery excellence, aligning objectives with customer commitments and strategic goals.
Own and actively manage the wholesale roadmap, focusing on cost savings, margin improvement, new partnerships, and footprint expansion.
Oversee wholesale negotiations.
Act as the primary escalation point for internal teams and MNOs regarding delays or challenges in localization or roaming projects.
Engage directly with strategic MNO partners to resolve escalations, align on roadmap priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
Implement governance, risk mitigation, and standard contracting practices to protect commercial and operational interests.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in wholesale or commercial telecommunications roles, with significant leadership experience.
Proven track record negotiating complex roaming, MVNO, and partner agreements with successful commercial outcomes.
Strong program delivery experience across integrations, telecom operational processes, and vendor relationships.
Excellent stakeholder management and escalation handling skills with MNOs and internal teams.
Strong commercial acumen, P&L ownership, and experience working with Finance on forecasts and board reports.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
