Overview
Are you looking for something a little bit different from a typical Finance role?
In Barden we are delighted to be partnering with a well-known Multinational in Cork to identify a Finance Manager.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing dynamic business as a key representative for Finance in a controllership capacity across EMEA.
There will be huge variety to the role with significant stakeholder engagement across the business and region.
The role reports to an impressive Senior Manager in a high performing and collaborative Finance Team.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, possess strong technical skills and an ability to build meaningful relationships across the business.
While initially a fixed term contract, there may be more longer-term opportunities for the right person.

About the role
Responsible for providing accurate and timely information to senior management including supporting US GAAP closing process
Review and analyse the financial performance of a large entity within EMEA
Partner with international/local commercial and finance teams
Responsible for ensuring Statutory and Taxation compliance, working with internal and external audit teams
Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment of unique transactions
Business partner with FP&A and operations teams to understand the business movements and make necessary adjustments
Contribution to the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
About the person
Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
Experience within a multinational environment
Technically strong with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude with a high level of personal integrity
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
