Overview

Are you looking for something a little bit different from a typical Finance role? In Barden we are delighted to be partnering with a well-known Multinational in Cork to identify a Finance Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing dynamic business as a key representative for Finance in a controllership capacity across EMEA. There will be huge variety to the role with significant stakeholder engagement across the business and region. The role reports to an impressive Senior Manager in a high performing and collaborative Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, possess strong technical skills and an ability to build meaningful relationships across the business.

About the role
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely information to senior management including supporting US GAAP closing process
  • Review and analyse the financial performance of a large entity within EMEA
  • Partner with international/local commercial and finance teams
  • Responsible for ensuring Statutory and Taxation compliance, working with internal and external audit teams
  • Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment of unique transactions
  • Business partner with FP&A and operations teams to understand the business movements and make necessary adjustments
  • Contribution to the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
About the person
  • Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
  • Experience within a multinational environment
  • Technically strong with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a high level of personal integrity
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
