Smyths ToysSmyths Toys is one of the world's largest specialty retailers of children's toys.We operate both online, and via our physical retail stores, with hundreds of stores spread across Europe and the UK.We source our product range from an extensive array of UK, European, and international suppliers.Are you up for the challenge?Then please apply online todayAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for seasonal Customer Service Representatives to join our team at our Head Office, Galway.If you have a passion for Customer Service, are commercially aware and can hit the ground running, then Smyths Toys could be for youOur headquarters in Galway has over 200 employees, with additional offices in Lille and Cologne.We operate 300+ physical retail stores in Ireland, the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, together with a substantial online business in each country.Initial Contract Type: Full time - Temporary Fixed Term37.5 hours per weekShifts patterns available: Wednesday - Sunday, Saturday - WednesdaySalary: €27,500 per yearResponsibilities:Ensuring that our customers are provided with a high quality level of customer service over a range of communication channels, but primarily across phone and email channelsResponding to customer queries in a timely manner, and in accordance with company proceduresUsing your product and system knowledge to solve problems for customersMaintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers alwaysProviding administrative support as and when requiredAdhering strictly to data protection and confidentiality lawsWorking towards daily performance targets as outlined by the Management TeamWorking as part of a team to achieve high customer service satisfactionThe ideal candidates will:Have previous customer service experienceHave great attention to detailPossess previous admin experience - ideally working in a role where IT systems were used dailyBehave in a professional mannerPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe highly organised with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelHave the ability to multitaskBenefits:An attractive competitive salary and bonus packageA benefits package inclusive of:33 Days Annual Leave (inclusive of public holidays)Defined Contribution Pension SchemeLife Assurance CoverEmployee Assistance ProgrammeIn-store discountCompany Maternity and Paternity PaymentsSpecial Life-Event GiftsLength of Service AwardsSmyths Toys is an Equal Opportunities Employer
