Job Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager – Construction Solutions
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth within the UK construction sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to work with cutting-edge solutions that address the unique challenges of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK construction market, focusing on solving industry-specific challenges with innovative software and solutions.
Manage a strategic sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective opportunity tracking.
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across customer accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical consultants, customer success, and implementation specialists, to tailor solutions that meet clients' needs.
Conduct in-depth discovery and needs analysis to align the right solutions and drive value for customers.
Engage with C-level executives and senior leaders to gain sponsorship and accelerate the sales process.
Provide regular updates on sales forecasts, pipeline progress, and account health.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the construction or AEC sector.
Strong expertise in consultative selling, with a focus on value-based selling, ROI methodologies, and solution selling.
4+ years of experience selling into the construction, engineering, or architecture sectors.
Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, and generate new business from strategic accounts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives.
Self-motivated, with a proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools, including MS Office and LinkedIn.
