Meet the team
As RTÉ's marketing team we are responsible for promoting RTÉ's content, channels, product and service brands across all platforms (on and off RTE) reaching audiences through the delivery of an overarching consumer-facing marketing strategy.
RTÉ is looking for an experienced CRM Marketing Executive to join its busy consumer-facing Marketing team on a one-year contract.
This role will support the growth of RTÉ's portfolio of digital products and delivery of personalised communications.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns across multiple marketing and CRM channels – including but not limited to email marketing, push notifications and in-app messages, as business needs grow.
You will build segments and deliver tailored, engaging communications to our audience, working closely with colleagues across marketing, content, editorial, product, technology and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
Support and execute an agreed marketing plan over the year covering a full spectrum of marketing activities
Plan, deliver and optimise CRM strategies to drive reach, traffic, retention and brand loyalty
Build and manage CRM campaigns using the CRM Automation tool (e.g. re-engagement, lifecycle, awareness)
Create and maintain audience segmentation and customer journeys for personalised engagement
Write briefs, channel-appropriate copy and support creative development for campaigns
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, preparing regular reports and insights for stakeholders
Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, editorial, content, product, technology, design and external suppliers) to execute campaigns effectively
Support the ongoing maintenance and data structure within the CRM Automation tool – working with our development team and supplier to facilitate
Support members of the team on work projects, administration and financial management tasks
Qualifications
A third level qualification in marketing or similar combined with 2+ years' experience in a consumer facing digital environment - agency or client side
Proven experience in executing CRM campaigns using Xtreme Push or a similar platform is essential – including the ability to build, execute and analyse campaigns
Knowledge of the back end of CRM systems such as Xtreme Push and ability to work with development teams on set up and maintenance
Analytical skills with experience in reporting and campaign measurement
Excellent copywriting skills and experience creating marketing assets
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to deliver in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficient in using Excel

This appointment will be offered on a fixed term contract basis for one year at the Administrative Grade 2 scale.
The salary scale for this grade is from €35,757 to €49,901 gross per annum, subject to relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
