Position Summary
The Empowering a Mentally Healthy Generation (EmpowerME) project is a collaborative, evidence-based initiative aimed at addressing the rising mental health challenges among children in Malta and enhancing their overall well-being.
The project is co-funded by the EU Programme for Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV), and is being implemented by the Ministry for Social Policy and Children's Rights (MSPC), the Commissioner for Children (CFC), the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR), and the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing (MHA) in Malta in collaboration with University College Cork (UCC) as the academic partner.
Experience working with children in participatory research is highly preferred for this position.
Achievement of the expected progression within Post Doc and Senior Post Doc is transferable between the Irish HEI's.
This can be reflected in the starting pay of a PD researcher.
Similarly, as the PD scheme is an intergenerational training scheme completion of PD1 or PD 2 levels in one HEI will normally render that researcher ineligible for appointment at a similar level in another Irish HEI
