Hobson Prior is seeking an Advanced Bioprocessing Scientist to join our client for a 15-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will lead and support a team of scientists in a biotechnology manufacturing environment.
You'll focus on ensuring compliance with quality standards, driving process improvements, and mentoring team members to achieve operational excellence.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
Guide and mentor team members to meet training and development goals.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and accurate documentation.
Complete required training and ensure tasks are performed in full compliance with regulations.
Manage and finalize key manufacturing documents, such as CAPAs, change controls, and batch records, efficiently and accurately.
Perform manufacturing tasks across various processes while adhering to GMP standards.
Identify and report issues or risks, and guide others in resolving them effectively.
Lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, and workflow efficiency.
Work in cleanroom environments to maintain sterile conditions and low contamination levels.
Conduct routine monitoring and cleaning of facilities, materials, and equipment.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing, ideally in biopharmaceuticals or gene therapy.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
Excellent skills in documentation and compliance.
A commitment to maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and operations.
