Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to be working with a global aircraft leasing company who are looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager to their team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare group monthly management accounts, financial statements, and quarterly US GAAP reports.
Reconcile key financial accounts (aircraft assets, debt, maintenance reserves, security deposits).
Record monthly journal entries per the close calendar.
Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
Research and apply relevant IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax reporting requirements.
Support budgeting, planning, and outsourced corporate service providers.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Enhance accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
Assist with financial projects and bank account management.
Core Competencies
Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent with 3+ years PQE
Aircraft leasing experience in a financial reporting role would be advantageous
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Have strong organisational, project management and communication/presentation skills
Proven high level of quantitative ability and ability to problem-solve within tight deadlines
