Position Summary
As part of our sales transformation strategy, we are expanding the Nestlé Ireland Sales team and recruiting for this newly created
National Account Manager
position based at our head office in City West, Dublin, Ireland.
As National Account Manager, you will lead the delivery of a profitable market share winning plan driven by the development and negotiation of Joint Business Plans with our Wholesale & Convenience customers.
A day in the life
You will be responsible for the full management and accountability of the customer / category / format P&L, including Sales Revenue, Trade Spend, Promotional ROI, Market Share and Profit targets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and leading the negotiation of the annual Customer Business Plans which deliver against internal and external strategies & KPI
Analyzing data sets (EPOS, Nielsen, CIM, SRM) to build commercial plans that optimise KPI delivery
Ensuring timely and accurate execution of Customer Plans with clear communication to customers and alignment across internal teams
Lead Customer Contact Strategy and build strong cross-functional relationships
Deploy customer, shopper and category insight to identify optimum portfolio mix; lead cross-functional teams to deliver portfolio range
Lead customer negotiations with alignment on variables and deliverables with the Commercial Development Team
Own and develop promotional plans including revenue, trade spend, promotion activation details, timing, mechanics and estimated uplift
Participate in all relevant internal planning processes (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and MBP; utilise data to understand external performance dynamics
Deliver monthly and/or weekly category reporting using systems such as Nielsen and Dunnhumby
Complete promotional pre- and post-evaluations with commentary and proof of execution; optimise with SRM to drive ROI

Have previous P&L budget responsibility
Be a skilled negotiator with the ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations
Understand forecast planning principles
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
Have category management experience
Work in a customer-centric way
Be curious and develop your Category Management skills
Be courageous, embrace new ideas, and drive positive disruption
Show a quick learning ability and take ownership of your personal development
Demonstrate a proactive, self-starter attitude
