Responsible for the accurate completion of any and all shipping and receiving tasks including but not limited to packaging, cleaning, sorting parts, and material handling.LocationDublin, IrelandPositionOnsite, Full TimeReporting toOperations ManagerResponsibilitiesPreparing packaging materials and supplies such as boxes, tape, and labels.Packing items securely and appropriately, ensuring they are protected during shipping or transport.Checking the accuracy of orders and verifying that the correct items are being packed.Labeling and documenting packages according to shipping and customer requirements.Tracking and maintaining inventory levels of packaging supplies and materials.Communicating with shipping and logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.Inspect packaging materials for defects or damage and report any issues to management.Operating equipment such as box cutters and sealing machines to prepare packages for shipping.Responsible for receiving and accepting deliveries of aircraft parts from suppliers or carriers.This involves verifying the accuracy of the shipment against purchase orders or shipping manifests.Inspect the received parts for any damage, defects, or discrepancies.This may involve conducting visual inspections, checking for proper packaging, and ensuring the parts meet the required specifications.Documentation and record-keeping: accurately document all received parts, including their quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, and condition.This information is essential for inventory management and tracking purposes.Responsible for handling various paperwork associated with the receiving process, such as shipping documents, invoices, packing slips, or customs forms.Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation is crucial to ensure proper traceability and compliance.Collaborating with other departments such as inventory and sales to coordinate shipping and order fulfillment activities.Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the proper disposal of packaging materials and waste.Responsible for preparing air waybills, which are the primary shipping documents for air cargo.(This includes accurately entering all necessary information such as shipper details, consignee details, shipment contents, weight, and dimensions.)Processing out AOG and will call orders, this includes communicating with sales, customers, and package collectors.Execute Hazmat shipments per regulatory guidelines.Performed by certified Hazmat Shippers.QualificationsPhysical demands– Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio.Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator or scanner.Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work.Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 30 pounds and heavier weights with the proper team lift or equipment.Education & Experience– Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and one (1) year of experience in warehousing using automated inventory procedures.Personal characteristics– Employees are expected to maintain a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to be punctual daily.Licenses– Possession of or ability to obtain a Forklift Operator's Certificate by the end of probationary period.Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirableFamiliar with proper packaging methods in line with ATA300 specificationPrevious Hazmat training is desirableEmployees primarily work in the warehouse and can be exposed to loud noise levels, vibration, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles.May be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions, hazardous physical substances, and fumes.Employees may interact with staff and public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.Days of work are Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.We have new products and services coming online soon.Interested?Sign up here to get the news first.#J-*****-Ljbffr
