This role owns the end-to-end power scaling strategy for a number of countries within the EMEA footprint.
The scope includes analyzing, developing, and implementing strategies for interconnecting data centers and scaling business across power grids, ensuring access to secure, resilient, and scalable power to support AWS growth.

A Day in the Life: Manage relationships with internal and external energy stakeholders.
Drive power contract negotiations and initiatives.
Establish and nurture business and technical relationships.
Support AWS's EMEA infrastructure expansion objectives.
About the Team: The Infrastructure Energy team, with 13 members across Dublin, London, Madrid, Dubai, and Frankfurt, focuses on securing reliable power for AWS data centers in EMEA.
The team is divided into Energy Project Managers and Grid Delivery Managers, supported by business analysts, tackling the challenge of scalable, sustainable power to support AWS growth.

About AWS: We value diverse experiences and encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of traditional career paths.

We promote work-life balance, inclusive culture, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering or relevant technical field or equivalent qualification.
