The Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment is a key growth area within Asana's Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy.
We collaborate with customers to develop the coordination layer between humans and AI, enabling SMBs worldwide to work smarter and grow faster.
As an SMB Account Executive, you will manage a dynamic portfolio, driving expansion and acquiring new clients through strategic account management, outbound prospecting, and inbound opportunity conversion.

This position is based in our Dublin office with a hybrid schedule: in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with options for remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays depending on your responsibilities and team arrangements.

What you'll achieve:
Manage and expand your portfolio of SMB accounts, focusing on retention, adoption, and new revenue.
Increase product engagement, identify growth opportunities, and deliver incremental ARR.
Develop tailored Account Plans based on account segmentation and potential.
Conduct persona-based and vertical-specific outbound prospecting targeting self-serve and whitespace accounts.
Qualify and close inbound opportunities generated by marketing and SDR teams.
Manage the entire sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and closing.
Maintain accurate forecasts weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Collaborate with Sales Programs, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
About you:
At least 1 year of closing experience in high-velocity sales or strong Sales Development background with quota achievement.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Experience operating within product-led or sales-assisted models.
Skilled in targeting by persona, industry, and use case to generate quality pipeline.
Strong negotiation, objection handling, and value articulation skills.
Proficient with Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; disciplined in pipeline management.
Understanding of the SMB buyer journey and ability to tailor messaging accordingly.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, learn quickly, and seek improvement opportunities.
Second language skills are preferred.
Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and apply them to enhance productivity and collaboration.
Our comprehensive compensation package reflects your impact and includes a base salary estimated between €56,650 and €63,250, with actual figures depending on market conditions and individual qualifications.
