We are now looking for an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

So, take advantage of the opportunity to grow your skills across both finance and procurement in a varied and rewarding role read on and apply today Duties As an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Specialist, you will support the financial operations of our Cork office.
Specifically, you will: - Manage supplier payments, remittances, and queries to support healthy cashflow - Process and reconcile invoices, maintaining accurate accounts payable records - Support banking, treasury, and intercompany transactions - Assist with month-end closing, budgeting, and cashflow planning - Investigate and resolve payment issues or irregularities - Raise and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery - Maintain accurate purchasing data in line with company guidelines - Address non-conformance issues and co-ordinate with internal teams What we need from you - Relevant purchasing or accounts payable experience or a third-level qualification in business, accounting or commerce - Strong IT skills and understanding of purchase ordering cycles - Proficiency in computerised accounting packages, preferably SAGE - Exceptional organisational skills and a strong attention to detail - The ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and meet deadlines Although not essential, experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
