We are now seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join as the firms Responsible Individual (RI) and lead our audit practice.
This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to shape and grow a high-quality, modern audit function within a fast-growing firm.
The Role As Audit Senior Manager, you will take overall responsibility for statutory audit engagements, leading delivery to clients while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will have the autonomy to build the audit function, develop a strong client base, and mentor a growing team.
Key Responsibilities Act as the firms Responsible Individual (RI), signing off statutory audits.
Take responsibility for audit quality, compliance, and adherence to professional standards.
Manage the audit process across a diverse client portfolio, from planning through to completion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Support business development and contribute to the growth of the audit client base.
Mentor and develop audit staff, building a high-performing team.
Work with firm leadership to expand and strengthen the audit service line.
About You This role is perfect for someone who: Is a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with audit RI status (or eligible for approval).
Has at least 5+ years audit experience with a proven track record at manager or senior manager level.
Has reported directly to an Audit Responsible Individual and is now ready to step up as the RI.
Is ambitious, commercially minded, and keen to shape a growing audit practice.
Brings technical expertise, leadership skills, and fresh ideas What We Offer Competitive salary of £60,000 £70,000 plus sign-on bonus.
Clear progression path as our audit practice grows, with potential to move into Head of Audit / Partner level.
Hybrid working: 4 days in the office (Magherafelt) and 1 day from home.
33 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
