Digital MMD Automation - Delta V Engineer required for a leading pharmaceutical facility in South Tipperary, to work closely with the Digital MMD teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of Delta V DCS.
Initially an 11 month contract.
Reporting to the Digital MMD Project Lead, specifically responsible for Delta V Systems.
ROLE: Write User requirements for Delta V modules Review and Approve related Design Documentation.
Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the Delta V system Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test) Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output.
Configuring and testing in development system as required.
Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with Standards REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
At least 5 or more years of experience in Delta V application.
Experience commissioning Delta V systems in GMP and batch 3 manufacturing facilities.
Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
Excellent understanding of c GMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.
Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
This is a site based role.
