The core objective of this position is to provide management in terms of Production, Staffing, Health & Safety and Environmental compliance at our Killeen Road Waste Facility to include Security & Weighbridge.
Core Responsibilities Ensure that efficiency of the site is maximized each working day and high-quality output of SRF is achieved.
Ensure the Facility operates and is compliant within its planning and permit conditions.
Ensure site security and fire risk requirements are continually met and any issues are highlighted Ensure that all staff that enter the site comply with all Uniform & PPE requirements and are compliant with Health & Safety policies of the company.
Check with Maintenance that all site Critical Equipment, Fire suppression, Odour control, Weighbridges have been inspected and are working at, all times Ensure all loads in/out are weighed correctly and billed/credited accordingly.
Adequate records are kept Key Skills Experience in waste management, depot/facility operations, or similar industrial environments Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing teams Knowledge of plant machinery and materials handling Understanding of regulatory compliance (EPA, H&S, etc.) Skills: Excellent Management Skills Heavy Plant Machinery Experience Waste Industry Experience Benefits: Mobile Phone Parking Company Vehicle Life Assurance Performance Bonus
