Technical Expert - Waste Management

Join a dynamic team where you can learn new skills and develop your career. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Technical team.

The role involves classifying waste in accordance with relevant regulations, assessing physical and chemical properties of waste, and determining the most appropriate treatment option.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess new waste streams to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Advise customers on classification, treatment, segregation, packaging, transport of waste, and any other compliance-related queries.
  • Carry out pre-acceptance checks for waste treatment methods and assess chemical compatibility between waste streams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Operations and ADR/IMDG legislation.
  • Experience in a Technical/Hazardous waste role is an advantage.
