Payroll Manager Shannon or Dublin (Hybrid) Full Time | Permanent Competitive Salary (DOE) A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation at a key stage of its expansion into Ireland and play a central role in building and managing a scalable payroll function.
About the Role: As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of payroll across multiple entities.
You will ensure payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and deliver monthly payroll cycles for employees in Ireland and other jurisdictions as the organisation grows Ensure compliance with tax laws, social insurance contributions, pension schemes, and other statutory requirements Act as primary point of contact for payroll vendors and external providers, ensuring service levels are met Oversee payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting, working closely with Finance to align with month-end processes Lead or support the implementation of new payroll systems, tools, and processes Maintain accurate records and ensure data privacy in line with GDPR and internal policies Respond to employee queries and support HR with compensation-related matters Collaborate with HR and Finance on budget planning, headcount reporting, and regulatory submissions Continuously identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation in payroll operations What Were Looking For: Minimum 5 years experience in a payroll role, with at least 2 years at manager level Proven experience running end-to-end payroll in Ireland Excellent knowledge of Irish tax legislation, payroll regulations, and employment law Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments is desirable Strong systems experience and Excel proficiency Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive data Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Whats on Offer: Key leadership role in a fast-growing, international organisation Autonomy to shape and improve payroll processes across the group Collaborative work culture and exposure to cross-functional teams Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working model, based in Dublin or Shannon Skills: Payroll Manager Benefits: Work From Home
