Job Description: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful financial management of our construction projects.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and timely cost advice, cost planning, and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate would be working alongside the commercial manager and would be provided with adequate training and mentorship to become an integral part of the company going forward.
Responsibilities: Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiation & finalise s/c orders, financial & commercial management of s/cs to Final Account completion.
Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting our clients commercial & contractual entitlement Manage & oversee AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Excellent communication, negotiation and computer skills Experience building and maintaining supplier relationships A strong remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate.
