Quality Technical Services Manager - 12 month FTC, Dublin

Job Title: Quality Technical Services Manager (1 year fixed term contract)

Location: Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Company: For nearly 100 years, my client has been accelerating the journey to better diabetes care. They created the first insulin delivery device, advancing diabetes management and treatment.

Overview: This role involves ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, preventing disruptions, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. It is a key position for maintaining equipment redundancy, validation, and training programs, with an onsite requirement and a 1-year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing manufacturing processes, equipment redundancy, validation, and laboratory practices.
  • Measuring and communicating process efficiency, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Leading procurement, facilitating technical problem-solving, and managing quality assurance and audits.
  • Collaborating with leadership, monitoring team performance, and overseeing people management.
  • Staying current with industry trends and participating in hiring processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; postgraduate preferred.
  • 6+ years in the medical device or regulated industry.
  • Experience with audits, process validation, CAPA, sterilization, and clean rooms.
  • Strong project management and Six Sigma skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Project, Minitab, Power BI).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
