Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Audits: Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of audits, delivering exceptional service to a variety of clients within different industries.
  • Client Relationships: Be the main point of contact for clients during the audit process, building strong, professional relationships and offering valuable insights.
  • Supervise Audit Teams: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior auditors, helping develop their skills and fostering their growth within the firm.
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Review and ensure the accuracy of financial statements in line with applicable accounting principles and audit standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure all audits comply with the latest laws and standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify audit risks and take proactive steps to mitigate potential issues, ensuring efficient audit procedures.
  • Prepare Reports: Write clear, concise audit reports, detailing findings, key issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage Budgets and Timelines: Ensure audits are completed on time and within budget, maintaining efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and Implement Audit Procedures: Contribute to the development and refinement of audit strategies, tools, and best practices to enhance audit delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience, ideally with exposure to a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead audit engagements, supervise teams, and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
