Overview

National Account Executive - Leinster at Sysco Ireland

Location: Leinster with some national travel.

The role is to deliver the budgeted annual sales and profit targets with key customer groups across the National Accounts sector. You will manage, maintain, and enhance Head Office relationships with the aim of delivering incremental sales growth. Relationships may involve negotiations with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the same business. It is desirable that you understand the foodservice industry.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistent sales and profit targets.
  • Design and implement a sales plan, adapting to an evolving marketplace.
  • Ensure all contractual elements are documented for clear account management where appropriate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve customer sales and growth plans.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Support the company plan to ensure sustainable growth and customer relationships.
  • Support change and participate in business improvement projects beyond immediate role responsibilities.
  • Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools across the team.
Requirements
  • Located within Leinster with some National Travel.
  • Experience within the Foodservice sector is desirable.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, marketing principles, prospecting, networking, and negotiations.
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and act upon financial data.
  • Developed communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at creating premium propositions for customers, incorporating regional and local industry trends.
  • Enrich the customer experience by providing solutions to support customer growth.
  • Work effectively across functions to remove obstacles and improve execution and servicing for customers.
  • Good knowledge of Business Technology capabilities.
  • Act with integrity, accountability, and respect.
  • Can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must maintain a valid driver\'s license with a driving record meeting company standards.
