Overview

Gourmet Food Parlour is offering an opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Front of House staff member to join our team at our unit onsite Arnott's department Store, in Dublin City Centre.

We are seeking an individual who looks forward to each workday, is committed to team development, embraces brand growth, and welcomes challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide front-of-house service as part of the waiting staff
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and upsell where appropriate
  • Maintain knowledge of food, allergens, and menu details
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with strong communication skills
  • Keep bar and waitress stations organized, stocked, and clean
  • Prepare and remember cocktail recipes
  • Understand the full menu and make recommendations based on customer preferences
  • Respond promptly and courteously to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints
  • Process cash and card payments according to procedures
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Clean the bar and floor areas, reset and restock for the next shift as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as waiting staff
  • Front-of-house waiting experience essential
  • A genuine passion for coffee and commitment to high standards
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations
