Base pay rangeUCD Professional Academy is seeking a creative, commercially minded and enthusiastic Content & Brand Marketing Manager to join our marketing department on a temporary contract basis. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer engagement through the strategic delivery of high-quality, impactful content and the management of brand consistency.
Please note, this is a temporary position to provide maternity leave cover, with an expected duration of 9 months.

We offer accessible courses to professionals through on-demand, live online, and in-classroom formats. Partnering with corporate clients, we help organisations upskill their teams for a more engaged and capable workforce.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will take charge of our content and brand strategy, bringing creativity and focus to align our messaging and vibrant content with fast-moving organisational goals. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, ensuring our tone of voice and storytelling captivate our audiences.
Managing another member of the content team, in this dynamic role you will be challenged to blend your sharp creative instincts with strategic thinking. You will build a meaningful content engine that moves at pace. You will be a key force behind boosting engagement, retention, and alumni participation across channels.

Content Creation:
- Oversee the strategic direction and delivery of vibrant, impactful content across diverse channels—including email, blog, social media, and newsletters—all designed to tell compelling stories that captivate and inspire our audiences.
- Create and manage digital brochureware, ensuring consistency with brand voice and marketing strategy.
- Together with our content executive, manage, plan and create video content for multiple platforms including email, brochureware, socials and paid media. Working closely with our lectures and internal teams.
- Work closely with various departments across the organisation to deliver on content needs.
Email Marketing:
- Develop, manage and execute a vibrant email calendar each month driving lead volumes, engagement and conversions, ensuring brand consistency.
- Segment and analyse a large database while ensuring maximum open rates and low opt-out rates.
- Continuously analyse email performance metrics, identifying opportunities to refine messaging and targeting to improve overall campaign effectiveness.
Webinars:
- Create and manage a webinar calendar to deliver both engaging webinars, as well as supporting sales to deliver strong leads.
- Plan, promote and coordinate all aspects of the webinars from developing the content, to coordinating with both external and internal speakers to hosting the webinar.
- Leverage post webinar content to deliver leads and repurpose content across marketing channels.
Alumni Campaigns:
- Drive alumni engagement and revenue generation through tailored communication series, promotional offers, and web optimisation.
- Report on revenue performance against targets, tracking discount code usage and alumni certificates issued.
CRM & Workflows:
- Develop and optimise CRM workflows to enhance customer segmentation and engagement. HubSpot experience is a distinct advantage.
- Implement targeted marketing campaigns, including promotional offers, to drive retention and acquisition.
- Maintain and update automated email marketing workflows to support lead nurturing and conversion.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, content initiatives, and CRM workflows.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to refine strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement and conversion rates.
- Evaluate lead scoring frameworks using data analysis and feedback from the sales team.
- Adjust lead scoring metrics to improve accuracy and build trust in the process.
Brand Management:
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align branding efforts with overall company objectives.
- Monitor brand perception and implement improvements based on market trends and customer feedback.

Skills and Attributes:
- Strong experience in leading customer lifetime value marketing activities through effective content and storytelling.
- Expertise in translating strategic goals into measurable campaign activities that enhance student experience, prospect engagement, and increase lifetime value.
- Ability to manage a team and oversee the full campaign lifecycle from concept to analysis.
- Understanding of web analytics, campaign attribution, and delivering targeted messaging using CRM software.
- Adept at translating data insights into effective customer engagement strategies.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, insights-driven culture within the marketing function.
- Responsive to emerging business needs as required.
Requirements:
- Ambitious and gifted marketer with experience in creating communication and engagement programmes aligned with business strategy.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
- Strong eye for detail and instinct for clear, engaging campaign messaging.
- Minimum of six years' professional experience in a related role and a degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities, making decisions, and meeting competing deadlines.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and experienced in database segmentation.
- Ability to develop and drive data-led loyalty and retention strategies.
