We are recruiting for the position of Support Worker to work as part of a dynamic team supporting in our Day Services in Kildare.

The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing.

We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting individuals with independent living skills, promoting community inclusion and contributing to their health and wellbeing.

Requirements
  • Relevant QQI Level 5 qualification.
  • Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans.
  • A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
  • Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
  • Excellent organisational, logistical and IT skills an advantage.
  • Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
  • Lone working/Individual Support and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.
  • Good connections in the local community an advantage.
