Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join and lead their on-site team based in Kilkenny. They are looking for a marketing professional with proven experience leading a marketing team and a successful track record in implementing strategies aligned with key business objectives.

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience is required. You should be a highly organised and passionate marketer, dedicated to driving results. You will need to be able to work within a fast-paced and changing environment, operating across multiple projects simultaneously to produce exceptional results.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Marketing Manager will manage and develop the marketing team, in addition to implementing the company's strategic and operational marketing initiatives.

This is a permanent position with Hybrid Options of 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

Your new job:Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and develop the marketing team with clear roles, responsibilities and KPIs.
  2. Develop and drive the brand experience internally within the business and externally with target B2B and B2C customers.
  3. Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends, gathering insights to support data-driven marketing strategies.
  4. Create category leading marketing and sales support material for the UK, Ireland, and France including in-store online, videos, packaging, brochures, advertising, sales packs, in-store POS and pitch presentations.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure a consistent message across all channels.
  6. Work closely with NPI and Sales to launch any new products, upgrades and brands across all channels.
  7. Delivery, ongoing implementation, budgeting and measurement of three-year brand development strategy across all channels and territories.
  8. Manage the marketing budget.

What are we looking for & Key Requirements?
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing.
  2. 7 to 10 years team management / People Management experience.
  3. Proven experience managing and motivating a goal-driven team.
  4. Confident, and results-driven.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
  6. Strong project management skills including prioritisation, conceptualisation, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives and delivering recommendations.
  7. Proven ability in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans on time and within budget.
  8. Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic priorities.
  9. Must be available to travel to the UK, the main market and relevant international trade fairs (UK, France and other countries as necessary).
