The CSIS (Citi Security and Investigative Services) Lead Security Officer is a seasoned professional role. It applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributes to developing new techniques and improving processes and workflows for the area or function, and integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. It requires an understanding of how areas integrate within the sub-function and how to coordinate and contribute to the function and overall business. The role involves evaluating moderately complex issues with substantial potential impact, balancing alternatives, and using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and diplomacy, and leadership capabilities are expected. The role regularly assumes formal/informal leadership within teams and may involve coaching and training new recruits. The impact is significant in terms of project size and scope, influencing decisions through advice and facilitating services to others in the area of specialization.

• Play a pivotal role in Citi\'s daily operations by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterprise
• Leverage subject matter expertise in physical security and safety, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics, or vendor management
• Directly manage Citi facilities and security staff at those facilities as delegated by the Regional Director of Security
• Oversee security operations to safeguard premises and employees against risk (unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, and related risks)
• Enforce security rules and safety standards
• Review security or safety incidents and implement corrective actions to reduce risk
• Ensure security procedures are enforced and that personnel are trained to respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with other departments on security and safety issues
• Provide training, operational readiness exercises, and practice security operations, drills, and day-to-day security systems functioning
• Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, first responders, and key business support entities to support assigned facilities
• Maintain CSIS systems, staff, and equipment to meet internal/external audit requirements
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of vendor and invoice management
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and team members
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi\'s reputation and assets, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and escalating/reporting control issues transparently

• Seasoned security officer experience
• Bachelor\'s or Associate degree plus equivalent work experience, or high school diploma plus equivalent experience
• Experience adhering to current security protocols, operations manuals, and guides
• Ability to foster relationships with external agencies to promote functional excellence
• Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments quickly
• Experience maintaining corporate assets and equipment in readiness to meet requirements
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities and preventative measures
• Experience with security and safety technology
• Ability to follow security instructions and report deviations
• Relevant experience in private/public sector security environments
• Professional security certifications
• Experience in a corporate or financial services security team
• Flexibility to work on-call, off-hours, and weekends

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
