Aramark currently requires a Retail Supervisor to manage the day-to-day running of the 'One Stop' shop and coffee shop in University Hospital Galway. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the retail, deli counter, and coffee shop services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in completing the store's operational requirements by scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark procedures regarding Opx and system requirements.
  • Implement policies and protocols to maintain retail operations.
  • Assist with store targets, scorecards, and payroll.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the shop is functional and presentable.
  • Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate daily retail operations.
  • Assist in monthly inventory management.
  • Follow health and safety policies.
  • Understand customer requirements and sales mixes.
  • Represent the store and set an example for staff.
  • Train staff on customer service practices.
  • Ensure proper merchandising and stock presentation.
  • Respond to customer complaints efficiently.
  • Act as the lead in the absence of the Retail Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
