Engineering Manager – Offshore Wind Foundations at COWI

Dublin, Ireland — Permanent/Temporary/Part Time, Office/Home Hybrid Working

Join to apply for the Engineering Manager (Offshore Wind) role at COWI.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering Management with special focus on FEED and detailed design of Offshore Wind Foundations
  • Supporting technical inputs to tenders for selected prospects
  • Providing technical leadership with respect to risk management, quality assurance, document control and cost control for the projects
  • Raising and responding to technical queries on the project
  • Leading project teams in the technical execution of the projects
  • Managing stakeholders, suppliers and partners
  • Leading project discipline leads and design teams
  • Ensuring state-of-the-art solutions meeting customer needs
  • Developing cohesive multi-location project teams
  • Ensuring your projects are delivered in line with COWI's global best practice
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree or PhD in a related engineering discipline
  • Extensive experience in the technical delivery of Offshore Wind Foundations projects
  • Experience with design of all common foundation types for offshore wind turbines and substations
  • Familiar with health, safety and environmental requirements for foundation design projects
  • Knowledge of all technical elements of foundation design
  • Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality standards across all stages of the project lifecycle
