Overview

Role: Business Analyst - Arcades Project. Contract (6 months). Hybrid location (Ireland, Dublin preferred). Start Date: 01/09/2025.

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Business Analyst to join the Arcades Development Team. This role sits within the PMO function and focuses on supporting the delivery of middleware services that enable multiple streams across the organisation. This is a delivery-focused role requiring close collaboration with technical system owners, development, and test teams rather than direct engagement with end users. The successful candidate will be inquisitive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a distributed environment with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with technical teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Support the implementation of new solutions and functionality within an Agile development environment.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between globally distributed stakeholders, including development teams predominantly based in India.
  • Support requirement validation and traceability through to completion, ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to data mapping, transfers, and API development initiatives to support middleware functionality.
  • Actively manage multiple workstreams, driving progress to completion.
  • Use Agile delivery tools (e.g. Jira) to manage and track requirements.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Must-Have:

    • Strong ability to deliver outcomes in a technical project environment.
    • Experience working in Agile development environments.
    • Practical experience with data mapping, transfers, and API-related work.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

    • Nice-to-Have:

      • Background in software development or technical projects.
      • Understanding of AWS environments.
      • Ability to orchestrate and co-ordinate across multiple project streams.
