The Role

We are looking for a committed service driven individual, customer focused and reliable to join our team in reception as a Receptionist with experience in the hotel industry.

Your Main Duties
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Check guests in and out efficiently
  • Answer switchboard and telephone in a friendly, professional manner
  • Make reservations, noting any special requests
  • Ensure billing is correctly done to the agreed standards
  • Handle floats and safe deposits, maintaining high levels of security
  • Update and balance reception cash at the end of each shift
  • Provide tourist and other local information to guests
Skills & Specifications
  • 1-year minimum experience
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends as required
  • A knowledge of hotel PMS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work equally well in a team environment and on their own initiative
