About The Role

Investlinx is seeking an ETF Business Development Manager to take ownership of our client engagement, events and commercial growth initiatives across the European market. This is a client-facing role with high visibility and responsibility. You will play a critical part in executing the firm's distribution strategy, deepening client relationships and driving AUM growth across family offices, institutional investors and financial advisory channels. This role will also require the successful candidate to hold the Designated Person for Distribution (PCF-39E). As part of our strategic growth plan, Investlinx is initially targeting clients in Italy, Germany and Austria and will then expand efforts into the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary sales and relationship manager for institutional investors, wealth managers, intermediaries and distribution partners, ensuring a high standard of engagement and service.
  • Build and lead the execution of the firm's distribution strategy, working collaboratively with other team members, including sponsorships and overall brand positioning.
  • Represent Investlinx at industry conferences, panel discussions and client-facing events to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
  • Plan and manage the execution of roadshows, teach-ins and prospect meetings.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers to deliver customised investment pitches and market insights to clients.
  • Drive digital engagement initiatives, including newsletter distribution, social media interaction and other client communication channels.
  • Oversee the development and localisation of high-quality client & prospect facing materials and presentations.
  • Own the firm's client and prospect intelligence strategy, maintaining CRM systems as reliable sources of accurate and actionable data.
  • Act as a conduit for client feedback, providing actionable insights to product and investment teams to guide ongoing development and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Fluency in Italian and/or German is preferred, but not a prerequisite.
  • Proven track record of selling and/or managing institutional client relationships within the investment management, asset management or financial services industry, with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, capital markets and distribution channels across Europe. Prior buy-side or sell-side experience within investment managers or research-driven brokerage firms would be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Confident public speaker, comfortable representing the firm at conferences, events, and client meetings.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills able to coordinate complex roadshows, events and client initiatives.
  • Commercially minded with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for business outcomes.
